By using Reidydone, you agree to the following terms regarding platform usage, payment processing, liability, and data privacy.
I hereby consent to Reidydone collecting and storing my legal name, gender, and professional certifications. I authorize Reidydone to share this data with third-party verification services and to display a 'Verified' status on my public profile. I understand this data is stored for the duration of my account to maintain platform trust.
I understand that Reidydone is a software platform that connects independent Service Professionals with clients, and does not itself provide liability insurance, bonding, or any master insurance policy covering my work. I am solely responsible for carrying my own liability insurance appropriate to the services I offer. For certain skilled-trade categories (including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general renovation), proof of liability insurance is required before I may be approved to accept jobs in that category. For other categories, providing proof of insurance is optional; if I do so and Reidydone's team reviews and confirms the documentation, a "Verified Insured" badge may be displayed on my public profile. I understand this badge reflects that Reidydone reviewed the document I provided — it is not a guarantee of coverage, does not create any insurance relationship between Reidydone and any client or professional, and does not make Reidydone an insurer or guarantor of my work.
I consent to the storage of my earnings history and banking details via Stripe. I acknowledge that Reidydone retains a 20% commission fee on all jobs completed by Affiliates (including Professionals, Movers, Snow, and Lawn care) as a platform service fee for referral and management. I acknowledge that Reidydone may be required by law to report these earnings to tax authorities and that I am responsible for my own tax obligations as an independent contractor.
I consent to Reidydone storing my home address and sharing it with confirmed Service Professionals for the sole purpose of fulfilling requested bookings. I agree to provide a safe environment for the Service Professional and acknowledge that my data will be stored as part of my account history until I request deletion.
I agree to pay the total booking amount shown at checkout, which includes the service cost and applicable taxes. I understand that Reidydone does not itself carry liability insurance covering the work performed by Service Professionals — Professionals are independent contractors responsible for their own insurance, and Reidydone may display a "Verified Insured" badge on a Professional's profile where proof of insurance has been reviewed (see Section 1.B). I acknowledge that payment processing is handled by Stripe and that Reidydone does not store my full credit card details.
I acknowledge that all quotes provided at the time of booking represent an average cost estimate and not a final standard cost. I understand that final pricing is subject to change based on the actual condition (soiling) of the home or the actual duration of labor as determined upon the arrival of the Service Professional and Quality Control Officer.
I understand that I may request the deletion of my backend data (Name, Address, Certificates) at any time. However, I acknowledge that any transaction data already written to the blockchain or required for legal tax reporting cannot be deleted and will remain as a permanent, anonymized record.
Service Professionals are independent contractors and not employees of Reidydone. Service Professionals utilize their own equipment, maintain the right to accept or reject any job, are responsible for their own taxes and core professional insurance, and are not subject to mandatory training or uniforms that would imply an employer-employee relationship.
Reidydone does not provide insurance coverage for damage, injury, or loss arising from a Service Professional's work. If an issue arises, clients and Professionals should report it to Reidydone support within 24 hours of job completion so we can help resolve the matter, including facilitating contact with the responsible Professional's own insurance provider where applicable. Reidydone's role in any such report is limited to platform mediation and does not constitute an assumption of liability.
Reidydone utilizes automated systems to assist in job assignments and platform safety. Ratings and job history may influence the visibility of profiles and the allocation of service requests to ensure high-quality platform standards.
